The equinox is the time of year when day and night have the same duration. In manycultures, rituals and festivities celebrate the arrival of light and theawakening of nature. In March 2024, we took part in the Quinzaine del’Allemagne en Occitanie (German Fortnight in Occitania) by devisingan artistic ‘Equinox’ day in the rhythm of light. From sunrise (6.49am) tosunset (6.59pm). Over the course of the 12-hour day, four artistic formatswere presented in succession, in the form of four chapters.
